Local Entrepreneur, Saidah Pearsall, shares journey from concept to market

Entrepreneurship Indianapolis kicked off in August with a bang! Attendees learned more about what it means for businesses to exist inside an Opportunity Zone with Tedd Grain from Local Initiative Support Corporation (LISC). As is the format of this series, Tedd spent a lot of time answering questions from the audience – some targeted to specific situations and others covering more general overviews of all things small business.

Tuesday, September 11th marks the second workshop in this series. Local entrepreneur, Saidah Pearsall, Owner of Shea BODYWORKS will be sharing her personal story of taking her idea from the kitchen table, to special events, to retail stores, and eventually to online sales!

Saidah will discuss all that she has learned as she went through rebranding of her business, repackaging her products, and all of the trial and error associated with being a start-up business. After sharing her story, Saidah will take questions from the audience and begin a group conversation chalk full of marketing tips and suggestions not only from her, but also from other attendees.

If you have ever wondered how a small business is created from idea to market, this is the session for you! Saidah is a wonderful example of perseverance and the crucial ability to pivot as the market, your customers, and your business change over time.
