What is your business?
“I am the vendor founder of Sip and Share Wines. We make a variety of artisanal vegan wines and we are located in Indianapolis. Our wines can be purchased online or at community events.”
How did you get started?
“Sip and Share Wines started when I was in graduate school. I was studying writing, so I would sit down with classmates and we would sip our wine and share our writing and then later discuss the different wines we brought to the table. That sparked my interest, and I kept kind of the same theme when I started the business.”
How has SOURCE impacted your business journey?
“I have a fantastic relationship with SOURCE. I was here before the actual SOURCE building. I did the first pitch competition and came in second place and it really helped me get my business off the ground.”
Since coming to SOURCE and receiving the Seed Fund, Nicole has been able to get her business off the ground and moving along. She has been able to participate in various community events and even travel across the country to share her wines.
In April 2019, Nicole and her business were featured in the Indianapolis Business Journal. Learn more about vegan wine and her journey into entrepreneurship.
The Seed Fund she received is generously funded by the Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust. It is a multi-step process available to all local entrepreneurs through SOURCE, and is an award of $500-$2,000 to use toward growing their businesses. Learn more about the seed fund here.
